NAMIBIA - Endless Horizons

Namibia has sights, sounds, aromas, tastes and emotions in abundance waiting for you to experience. From the dark waters of the Atlantic Ocean, to the dusty plains of the Kalahari; awesome contrasting landscapes, the spectacular vistas of the geological formations in Damaraland, the colourful palette of the monumental dunes near Sossusvlei and the lush green vegetation of the Caprivi; mere mortals stand in wonder at this breathtaking beauty.

Namibia is a daytime destination. Each day brings more moments that will be forever treasured. The expanse of the country will thrill your senses, invigorate the soul, but tire the body. And as night replaces day, surrender to the achy physical pleasure that only complete satisfaction can bring. Some things cannot be explained; they must be experienced to be understood.

Central Region

Marking the dividing line between the Kalahari and Namib Deserts, central Namibia offers not only a conglomeration of its different cultures, but also showcases aesthetic natural features unique to southern Africa.

Southern Region

The south of Namibia is wide-open and arid, but it’s this very austerity that makes the region so fascinating. Arguably the country’s most spectacular geological phenomenon, the Fish River Canyon cuts an impressive 161 km long gorge into an otherwise flat landscape.

Coastal Region

The entire coastline of Namibia is protected as various national Parks. From the Sperrgebiet, through the Namib Naukluft, along the Dorob (with the towns) until the Skeleton Coast, Namibia is aware of its obligations to protect and conserve these fragile environments for future generations, as well as benefitting from sustainable tourism.

Northern Region

The North of Namibia is a classic kaleidoscope of colour, a mix of awesome lanscapes and abundant wildlife. From the huge canvasses of the Damaraland and Kaokoveld landscapes, to the free roaming wildlife in the conservancies and Etosha, the North of Namibia offers a true Africa experience that is rugged, natural, adventurous and soulful.

Caprivi Region

Whereas Namibia is known for its deserts and otherwise fairly dry countryside, the Caprivi Strip is a green, lush, riverine experience. Described by many as a glimpse into the Africa as perceived by many visitors, this long, narrow strip of land offers an insight into African cultures and lifestyles, and a subsistence existence close to nature.
